SPCALL may use your personal information for the following purposes:

• To register your pets in accordance with applicable legislation;
• To provide you with our adoption, surrender, claims, and complaints services;
• To respond to your information requests;
• To contact you for fundraising purposes, and for information related to our programs, events, and services;
• To process payments for your donations and other financial transactions;
• To assess any applications submitted to become a member, employee, or volunteer of SPCALL;
• To develop and promote services, including generating depersonalized statistics from personal information;
• To enable SPCALL to fulfill its obligations and/or exercise its rights as an employer, as a registered charity of which you are a member, director, and/or volunteer, or in any other capacity;
• To enforce municipal and provincial pet legislation in the territory served by SPCALL.
  
  

When do we collect your information?

We may collect your personal information when you use our services and provide it voluntarily. For example, we may ask you to provide personal information when you:

• Communicate with an SPCALL representative (in person, by phone, via video conference, instant messaging, etc.);
• Use our website;
• Make a donation by mail, using our online platform, via Accès-D, in person, etc.;
• Send a question or comment to our organization by email, phone, on social media, or through our website (spcall.ca);
• Participate in an event organized or associated with SPCALL;
• Register your pets;
• Use our adoption, surrender, or claims services;
• File a complaint against a third party under pet legislation;
• Become the subject of a complaint under pet legislation;
• During the evaluation of your dog in the context of the municipal “dangerous dog” regulation;
